Using the suggestion of Rebenice, I've made an accent, playing with dots, pinks and greens.

Su suggerimento di Rebenice, ho fatto una accent, giocando con pois, rosa e verdi.

Quite weird and particular don't you think?
I've chosen to revisit both the base, choosing a different pink to try one of the gorgeous Depend nail polishes (which you'll soon see in details here on the blog), and also the dots, that I've made using the stamping technique.

Ebbene io ho voluto rivedere sia la base, optando per un rosa diverso, per provare uno dei miei splendidi Depend O2 (che vedrete presto sul blog in maniera più dettagliata), sia i pallini, che ho realizzato con la tecnica dello stamping.


Yes, the decor is upside down, it'd been impossible for me to paint it the right way...
And looking at the pics it's so clear where I've used the acrylic paint and where the regular nail polish... I'll assure you: IRL it's not so visible, and it's definitely not visible after I've applied the top coat ;)

Sì, il decoro è a rovescio, ma del resto sarebbe stato quasi impossibile per me disegnarlo dal verso giusto.
Guardando le foto è evidente dove abbia usato l'acrilico (sì Fra, l'ho usato finalmente!), e dove lo smalto... uffa! Vi garantisco che dal vivo non si nota, e soprattutto dopo aver steso il top coat non si vede nemmeno da vicino ^_^

Oggi vi volevo raccontare la mia ultima disavventura ungueale, e mostrarvi come l'ho risolta, o meglio: come la sto risolvendo.

Le mie unghie erano lunghe, limate a mandorla (più tendente all'ovale che a una vera mandorla), più o meno così:

La rubrica in collaborazione con Sara di The Call of Beauty oggi vi porta... a vedere le nostre nail art da matrimonio! Ebbene, io mi sono sposata più di 7 anni fa, e non ero ancora un'appassionata: avevo già cominciato a far crescere le unghie, ma avevo una quantità di smalti che riempiva a mala pena 1 scatola di scarpe (SI' AVETE LETTO BENE)

Cos'era? In effetti la foto non è molto chiara, ebbene, è una french manicure fatta con un vecchio smalto Rimmel (che non ho più perchè si è seccato) con un fiorellino fatto con la polvere acrilica bianca della EzFlow.



Non ho altre foto dove le unghie siano in primo piano...

Today the theme is Flowers and I decided to bring my acrylic powders "back to life"...

Questo kit, regalatomi nello stand EZFlow di un Cosmoprof di millanta anni fa, e il mio bellissimo Kolinsky fanno ancora il loro sporco (e puzzolente) lavoro, è stato grazie a loro che ho cominciato ad appassionarmi a smalti e nail art. Non sapendo ricostruire infatti, ho sempre usato l'acrilico solo per fare decorazioni 3D, ed eccone qua una.
This kit, gifted to me in the EZFlow's booth at a I-don't-know-how-many-years-ago Cosmoprof, and my Kolisnky brush still do their (stinky) work, it's been thanks to this kit that I began to love nail polishes and nail art in general. As I can't do nails reconstructions I've always used acrylics to do 3D decorations only, and today I'll show you one.


Ho steso come base Illamasqua Scorn, un bel nero matte, su tutte le unghie tranne l'anulare con Shaka Matte White. Sul nero ho utilizzato la polvere bianca e sul bianco ho usato la polvere rosa.
Nel medio ho messo uno strass giallo (completamente decentrato...) e sulle altre dita ho ravvivato con Avon Starry Sky
I've applied Illamasqua Scorn, a matte black, on all the nails except for the ring finger where I've used Shaka Matte White. On the black I've used the white powder and on the white the pink powder.
On the middle finger I've added a yellow rhinestone (decentered...) and on the other nails I brighten up with Avon Starry Sky
